Have you tried the spelling CORDAY to trace Mary's lineage? Corday/Cardy/Carday/Cady is also a name in this part of Massachusetts. Remember, we drop our "Rs" in this part of the world!
Ah, Wendy, one of the few movies I've watched more than once! It always cracks me up!
Heather, I am shaking my head at how dense I am! It has never occurred to me that Cardee might be spelled another way. Why??? I don't know! Especially since I am never surprised to find surnames spelled in unimaginable variations. But for some reason, I just never went there with Cardee. Go figger! Thanks for the nudge!
