Blurb Software Upgrade Available Now

I currently have several books in progress and, as you probably know, my POD publisher of choice is Blurb. (And in case you're wondering, I am not affiliated with Blurb in any way except as a customer, and I do not benefit in any way by writing about my Blurb experiences, positive or negative.) This week I received notice that they've released a new software upgrade, Booksmart 3.0. There are some interesting new features that customers have requested, and I'm looking forward to checking them out.

You'll find more information about the upgrade here, including some advice about any works you may have in progress.

TK, I also received the notice, and thought of you. If and when I do one, I'll come to you for advice! Sure hope the upgrades are helpful to you.

Hi Barbara,
I have two books almost ready to go, and maybe a third, but the others have a long way to go. I'll probably finish these two or three that are close before I upgrade, just to be on the safe side. The others, if they don't weather the change too well, won't be that big a problem to start over, as they're mostly just pictures in a rough layout at this point.

I'm really eager to see how it'll work out when you change the size of a book, and am hoping their tool for spreading a photo across two pages will work well. I've done it manually a couple times but didn't get it quite perfect either time.
